Enjoy superb tea at Country Shabby Chic's Tea Room. Whether you are stepping in for a quick pot of tea and a scone, meeting friends or planning a special event it will be a memorable occasion. The tea selection includes black, red, green, and white teas, herbal, and fruit teas as well as chai tea. Both the connoisseur and the novice are sure to find their perfect tea. The Tea Room is a cozy neighborhood tea room where you can eat, relax and enjoy. The Tea Room is a unique and exquisite resource for gourmet tea’s and gifts. Our Tea Service includes Lunch and Afternoon Tea. Our Lunch Tea begins with soup du jour or salad and a delectable choice of entrees. Lunch also may be enjoyed with a scone, sweets, fruit, with a cup of tea or a pot of tea, iced tea, coffee, or your choice of beverage. Our Afternoon Tea Service includes a selection of tea trays. One may savor assorted finger sandwiches, quiche, sweets, fruit, and scones with Devonshire cream and with a pot of tea, iced tea, coffee, or your choice of beverage. Our food is fresh and well prepared, and there are a number of diet and vegetarian options. Private party, club meetings and event scheduling available. We are located in historic downtown Picayune Mississippi. Hours: Retail, Monday–Saturday 10am till 5pm. Lunch Tea: 11:30am till 3pm. Afternoon Tea: (reservation preferred but not necessary) 2pm till 4pm. Our last seating is at 3:30pm each day. Please call 601-798-0909. We do not except reservations be e-mail. We offer many types of events and love to offer tea parties for all ages. We have theme birthday parties for girls and boys; dress up parties for girls 4-12, Etiquette Classes. We have Special Event Teas such as Mothers Day, Valentine's Day, and Tea with Mrs Clause, Bridal and Baby Shower Teas to commemorate the special day.
